Making sense of the chaos so you can move forward with confidence.

Why book a Build Survival Session with me?

Because I understand exactly where you are right now—and how quickly things can spiral without the right support.

I’m Siobhan Casey, an award-winning interior designer with over 13 years of experience guiding homeowners through renovations, extensions, and complex refurbishments. I’ve spent years reviewing layouts, working with builders, and helping clients stay focused when the pressure mounts. My work has been featured in Living etc, The Telegraph, KBB Magazine, and Country Homes & Interiors—but what matters more is that my clients trust me to bring clarity and calm when they’re overwhelmed by decisions. Many credit me with transforming not just their homes, but how they live in them.

This online session is designed for exactly that stage—when you’re knee-deep in decisions about layouts, lighting, or finishes, and you just need someone to help you see the way forward. I’ll help you make sense of your options, spot any issues that need attention, and focus on what really matters to you. I speak fluent builder, so if you’re being hit with technical questions or pressured to make choices before you’re ready, I can help you sense-check and respond with confidence.

And if you and your partner aren’t seeing eye to eye? I’m also very good at being a diplomatic design referee.

What’s Included in the Consultation?

2-hour online consultation via Zoom or Teams

We’ll tackle your project head-on, reviewing drawings, samples, inspiration, and dilemmas.

Pre-call questionnaire

You’ll summarise where you’re stuck, share images, plans, or product links, and tell me your priorities, or ask me to help sort your priorities.

Written summary of key advice

I’ll follow up with bullet-point notes or action steps if useful—especially when multiple decisions are covered.

Decisions We Can Untangle (and Finally Finalise)

When you’re mid-build, even small design decisions can feel overwhelming — and rushed choices often lead to costly mistakes. This session is designed to step in where your contractor, architect, or past self may have left gaps.

Here are just some of the issues we can tackle together:

  • You’re stuck choosing tiles, flooring, or worktops and worried they’re all shouting at each other
  • Paint colours are clashing from room to room and you’re starting to doubt everything (including your life choices)
  • You’ve spotted layout issues too late and need a second set of eyes before it’s all set in stone (or plasterboard)

We’ll review what’s already planned, highlight what’s missing, and help you make smart, solid design decisions – so things keep moving, without the panic.

No pressure to cover everything. This session is your space to breathe, regroup, and get the kind of guidance that makes the rest of the build feel a whole lot more manageable.

What You’ll Walk Away With

Clear, confident decisions made in real-time

No more endless back-and-forth or second-guessing. We’ll make smart, informed choices together on the spot, so you can keep your project moving.

Visual or verbal direction on finishes, layout, or styling

Whether you need a moodboard-style visual or just someone to talk it through with, I’ll help you nail down the look, layout, and feel that works.

Tension diffused (if you’re stuck in a couple’s clash!)

Design disagreements? I’ll help mediate with a neutral, professional perspective—so everyone feels heard and the right choice gets made.

Prioritised next steps so you can move forward without spiralling

You’ll leave with a clear, doable action plan that cuts through the noise and tells you exactly what to do next—no overwhelm, no overthinking.
